BicyclesNow is a new web based trading site that allows users to buy and sell new and used bicycles, bicycle equipment and accessories across the United Kingdom.
The idea was conceived by a novice but keen cyclist who enjoys easy and flat bike rides ! As a poor student she could not understand the limited forum available to buy and sell used and new well priced bicycles and wanted to do something about it. Following inspiration by watching ‘Le Tour' in England and by further British cycling successes she devised BicyclesNow.
Our aims are to:
• promote cycling to people of all genders, ages, abilities and financial standing by providing access to all types and prices of bicycle, bicycle equipment and accessories on our nationwide website.
• promote an environmentally friendly sport and means of transport.
• try to increase bicycle usage for people of all ages and backgrounds, and improve their fitness.
• extend the lifespan of bicycles by providing a simple but concise UK wide website for pre-owned bicycles, bicycle equipment and accessories.
• work with bicycle retailers, industry and associations to enhance and extend advertising for new bicycles, equipment and accessories.
• promote a better understanding of bicycle use, mechanics, safety and security through guidance on our website and through links to relevant organisations.
Through our website we hope to increase bicycle use in the UK. We also hope that the website provides cyclists with an extensive selection of bicycles, bicycle equipment and accessories to allow them to start, develop or satisfy their cycling goals. We also want to promote cycling as;
- an entertaining and spectacular sport.
- a green and sustainable means of transport.
- an excellent way to develop and maintain fitness and health.
- a great way to see the country and meet fellow cyclists.
